Due to the remote world that we now live in, we are now providing recipient rights training here on this page

Please follow the instructions bellow to be certified for the year:

Step 1: Read through the Recipient Rights Powerpoint: "The Rights of individuals receiving mental health services"

Step 2: Take the "Recipient Rights System Overview Test"

Step 3: Email the current Recipient Rights director, Jill McKay, at "jmckay@newaygocmh.org" and attach your test questions and leave your first and last name in the subject line or body.

Newaygo County Mental Health assures that no individual shall be denied service on the basis of inability to pay, whether the payment is by Medicare or Medicaid, race, color, age, sex, gender identity, religion, national affiliations, marital status, height, weight, arrest record, disability, or any other legally protected status. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
