May 2010 - MID-LEVEL PRACTITIONER - We currently have a full time position available for a Mid-Level Practitioner (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner). This individual will be expected to collaborate with our physicians to provide primary care and treatment to patients of all ages in a mental health setting. This individual must be able to obtain and interpret medical history, perform a physical exam, counsel and instruct consumers, order appropriate diagnostic tests, and collaborate with the physician in managing acute and long-term psychiatric & medical needs of consumers. This individual must be licensed by the State of Michigan as either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, be a team player, and possess excellent customer service skills. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred.
